چکیده
Abstract The present study examines whether neuroticism is predicted by genetic vulnerability, summarized as polygenic risk score for (PRS N ), in interaction with bullying, parental bonding, and childhood adversity. Data were derived from a general population adolescent young adult twin cohort. final sample consisted of 202 monozygotic 436 dizygotic twins 319 pairs. Short Eysenck Personality questionnaire was used to measure neuroticism. PRS trained on the results Genetics Consortium (GPC) United Kingdom Biobank (UKB) cohorts, yielding two different . Multilevel mixed-effects models analyze main interacting associations , adversity, bonding style We found no evidence gene–environment correlation. thresholds .005 .2 chosen, based GPC UKB datasets, respectively. After correction confounders, all individual variables associated expression neuroticism: both UKB, maternal paternal bullying primary school secondary school. However, indicated this These suggest that vulnerability one hand negative life events (childhood adversity bullying) positive (optimal bonding) other represent noninteracting pathways

Interplay between Schizophrenia Polygenic Risk Score and Childhood Adversity in First-Presentation Psychotic Disorder: A Pilot Study
A history of childhood adversity is associated with psychotic disorder, with an increase in risk according to number or severity of exposures. However, it is not known why only some exposed individuals go on to develop psychosis. One possibility is pre-existing genetic vulnerability. Research on gene-environment interaction in psychosis has primarily focused on candidate genes, although the gen...
متن کاملPRSice: Polygenic Risk Score software
SUMMARY A polygenic risk score (PRS) is a sum of trait-associated alleles across many genetic loci, typically weighted by effect sizes estimated from a genome-wide association study. The application of PRS has grown in recent years as their utility for detecting shared genetic aetiology among traits has become appreciated; PRS can also be used to establish the presence of a genetic signal in un...
